COVID-19 Announcement: Our free community lunches are currently suspended

Since 2013 we have hosted free community lunches in several neighbourhoods across Melbourne’s north. Our humble beginnings at the Brunswick Neighbourhood House quickly expanded to include community lunches to Fitzroy, Collingwood, Fawkner, Richmond, Glenroy, Coburg, Coburg North and North Fitzroy.

All meals are shared in an open and inclusive environment, where volunteers and diners of all ages and cultural backgrounds sit together for a meal at our open table. Our volunteers create a varied vegetarian menu all from donated food that would otherwise be wasted. In addition we offer free fresh produce hampers anyone to take home, as well as take away meals.

With the continued efforts to slow the spread of COVID-19, our free community lunches are temporarily suspended until further notice. We'll keep you up to date when our schedule changes, so stay tuned! Thank you in advance for your understanding.
